Fifth Annual PFLAG Interfaith convocation

CTA members attend PFLAG Convocation

SW Florida Call to Action members joined the parents and friends of gays and lesbians as well as many LGBT people themselves to participate in the Fifth Annual PFLAG Interfaith convocation on May 6, 2012 in Temple Shalom in Naples. Seventeen clergy and religious leaders from various churches in Naples led the prayers, and joint choirs embellished the service with their beautiful music. Personal reflections were given by a female rabbi, Sylvin Wolf, the father of a gay man, Rev. Dr. Ronald Patterson, and a gay man, B.A. Buttz. After the convocation, people gathered for joyous conversations and delicious food.
